How long does shipping take?
We hand-craft every book in California within 2-4 business days. Standard US shipping then takes 3-5 days, so most orders arrive within a week. Need it sooner? Express shipping is available at checkout.
What can I personalize?
The child's name appears on the cover and throughout the story (typically on every other page). You can also add a short dedication message that prints on the inside cover — something like "For Sophia, with all our love, Mom & Dad ✦".
Is the name limit 25 characters? What about long or hyphenated names?
We support most names up to 25 characters, including hyphenated names like "Mary-Anne" or longer names like "Alexandra". If you have a unique name we can't fit on the cover, we'll reach out before printing.
What ages is this book for?
Our books are designed for children ages 0-6 years. Younger babies love the soft watercolor illustrations and rhythmic text; toddlers and preschoolers love seeing their own name on every page.
Will I see a preview before printing?
For most orders, we don't send a digital preview — we go straight to print so we can ship within 2-4 business days. If you'd like to review the spelling or details before printing, just leave a note at checkout and we'll email you a proof first.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Yes — within 2 hours of ordering, you can email us at hello@moonneststories.com and we'll update or cancel your order before it goes to print. After printing starts, we can't make changes (each book is custom-printed for you).
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. International orders typically arrive within 10-14 business days. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location.
What if there's a typo or I don't love it?
If anything's wrong on our end (typo, printing issue, damage in transit), we'll send a replacement free of charge — just send us a photo. For change-of-mind returns: because every book is personalized, we don't accept returns of correctly-printed orders. But if you're unhappy, please reach out — we'll always try to make it right.
